TASK FORCES & COMMITTEES

Communications Committee

This committee will focus on creating content for the monthly member newsletters, and other official NASPOG communications.

Education Committee

The Planning (Education) Committee designs and oversees NASPOG’s educational programming, including the Biennial Meeting and other society-sponsored learning activities. The committee identifies member learning needs, develops session themes and objectives, recruits speakers, and helps ensure programming is timely, evidence-based, and relevant to pediatric and adolescent gynecology care.

Advocacy Committee

The Advocacy Committee advances NASPOG’s mission by identifying, prioritizing, and supporting advocacy efforts that improve pediatric and adolescent gynecologic health. The committee monitors relevant policy issues, develops recommendations and resources for members, and advises the Board on appropriate organizational actions, partnerships, and statements aligned with NASPOG values and strategic goals.

Social Media Committee

This committee will work to develop a social media strategy and increase engagement with members and stakeholders via social media outlets:

• Facebook
• Instagram
• Linkedin

DEI Committee

Efforts of this advocacy will focus on establishing and launching initiatives that highlight the importance of diversity and acknowledge the systemic racism, injustice, and differences in power and privilege that exist in our nation, and our systems of care.

Volunteer Opportunities

NASPOG is always seeking members to get involved with advocacy and committee initiatives.

Volunteer terms are 2 years. Volunteers must be a NASPOG member in good standing to serve on a committee.
